Nautilus shell is composed of layers of different colors. Here, one part of the shell is polished down to the innermost layer, which is naturally pearlescent blue-gray. The other part of the shell is the polished outer layer which has natural brown banding pattern. To form the cab, the nautilus shell is cut in half down the long axis, filled with resin and capped with mother of pearl, or other shell material, to form the flat back. Generously sized, these shell cabs will not go unnoticed. Come on, let's make something beautiful!
Note: Some beads have more banding, while others have fewer bands. Color of banding may vary. Please see pictures for variation.
