This is whole abalone shell, cleaned and polished smooth to reveal a natural multicolored array! Simply amazing. You will find bold shades of blue, purple, green, with pink or gold highlights. The colors appear to be cascading down the front of the shell, with no two shells having the same colors or pattern. Abalone shell naturally has a few large holes (about 5-10mm) which run along the side/back of the shell. They could be used to create a very large focal. Polished abalone also makes for beautiful shell bowls or decorative pieces. Come on, let's make something beautiful!
